Environmentally Friendly Gifts, Textiles & Crafts Made From Recycled Materials: One of our goals for 2007/08 was to work with our producer groups to create more environmentally responsible products, but we found that they were way ahead of us. Recycling is a fact of life in the developing world and our artisans were eager to design new products using recycled embroideries, leather, paper, corn husks, scrap cotton, and even gum wrappers. The products below reflect their creativity and we think you will find that they are not just beautiful, but extremely well made.
