Handmade Zacualpa Bedspreads. Ivory with embroidered stripes. This is a traditional woven bedspread from
Zacualpa, Guatemala. Its woven
on a back-strap loom in panels and then joined with decorative embroidery.
The artisans then add intricate embroidery work [in red, green, gold &
blue] at the top and bottom of
the bedspread. Cotton. Colors and designs are very consistent
in this bedspread.
